Actor and director William Davis is best known for his recurring role as a cigarette-smoking bad guy, dubbed “cancer man,” on the television show The X-Files. In real life, the University of Toronto grad doesn’t smoke, is a Canadian national champion water-skier in his division and a spokesman for the Canadian Cancer Society. He’s also planning to soon make a gift of securities to Hart House Theatre.
