Cayman Islands - Cay Compass News Online - Gala funds future leaders: "Through CIUWC’s scholarship programme, promising Cayman students have attended many of the 12 UWC schools scattered around the world in places like Wales, British Columbia, Swaziland, and New Mexico. Right now, students are attending Li Po Chung UWC in Hong Kong, Mahindra UWC in India and UWC Costa Rica.
But for the first time in 23 years, CIUWC has not been able to meet its annual fundraising goals.
“In recent years corporate funding has dwindled while costs have continued to increase,” says fundraising director Katrina Jurn."
