Your corporate partners aren’t just there to fundraise, they can be your investors as well
Your corporate partners aren’t just there to fundraise, they can be your investors as well: "What next for charity-corporate partnerships?
Every charity fundraiser knows the potential of engaging corporate supporters. Charities gain a range of benefits from these relationships – obviously donations, but also time, expertise and channels to increase awareness of their cause through employees and customers. Income from corporates has been at around £2bn per year (only 5 per cent of the charity sector’s income) – but in a climate where corporate giving is unlikely to significantly increase, charities need to consider working with corporates differently to achieve social change in a much bigger way."

Charities must adapt to ageing population – or miss out | Voluntary Sector Network | The Guardian
Charities must adapt to ageing population – or miss out | Voluntary Sector Network | The Guardian: "f they get this right, the potential rewards for the voluntary sector are substantial. The numbers are eye-opening: if people hitting 65 keep donating time and money at the same rate as today’s older population, it’ll be worth the equivalent of £6.5bn to the sector over the next 20 years. It would take another 150 Red Nose Days to raise the same.
So by the middle of the 2030s our charities could be flourishing, from extra cash and resources but also from the expertise and experience that these baby boomers will bring. Voluntary organisations could be rich in many ways."
