Aussie generosity on the way back up, consumer confidence | News.com.au: A report released in June this year showed that the GFC impacted the amount of money Australians donated to charity during the GFC.
Queensland University of Technology's Australian Centre for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Studies (ACPNS) found that in 2008-2009 for the first time on record, giving went down across the nation.
