Regular donations continue despite disasters - The Westerner: "A philanthropy expert from Closeburn believes charities not connected to flood or cyclone relief are not likely to be abandoned by their regular donors.
Dr Wendy Scaife, from the Australian Centre of Philanthropy and Non-profit Studies at QUT, said non-welfare charities often worried about losing donations in times of national or international crises."
