UAE Red Crescent launches annual Ramadan charity campaign - AL SHORFA: "A spokesman for the organisation, which serves as the operating arm of the Red Cross in the Islamic world, confirmed that most of the funds will go to Ramadan charity works in the UAE. The balance will be distributed via UAE embassies to recognised charities elsewhere in the Islamic world."
