30/70 fund raising rule fine-tuned - March 26, 2008: "The council, set up in October 2006 to promote good governance at charities, has worked with the Commissioner of Charities to fine-tune the 30/70 fund raising efficiency ratio.

Under this ratio, all charities and institutions of a public character must keep the cost of fund raising at no more than 30 per cent of the money raised."
