Philanthropy in India undergoes a paradigm shift - Corporate News - livemint.com: But at the third annual Indian Philanthropy Forum (IPF) held on Wednesday in Mumbai, the question was no longer “how do we encourage Indian philanthropy”, but “how do we encourage them to think strategically”—an indication of how far Indian philanthropy has come in just a few years.

“We have witnessed tremendous growth in Indian philanthropy in the past three years, and now must harness that interest to create real change for those living in poverty,” said Deval Sanghavi, CEO of Dasra and founder of the IPF.
