Lord Nat Wei will step down as the government’s adviser on the big society next week to take up an unpaid advisory role at the Community Foundation Network.
Wei was appointed to the House of Lords a year ago, when he was also made an official adviser on the government’s big society agenda, for which he was not paid. In February he announced he would reduce his working hours at the Cabinet Office."
