Pop up store phenomenon: Vancouver retailers embrace a growing trend: "This time, Scoop has added a twist to its successful concept. The back half of the store, called Philanthropy, sells items donated by local businesses and 80 per cent of the profits will go to local charities. With the initiative, Nichol and Sinclair hope to raise $50,000 for Arts Umbrella and Canuck Place Children’s Hospice.
“We hope to make helping others the next fashion trend,” says Nichol."
