Ottawa ends its cap on donations to help Haiti - thestar.com: "OTTAWA–Canadians now have millions more reasons to give generously to help Haiti.

In the face of 'overwhelming' generosity by Canadian donations to support relief efforts, Prime Minister Stephen Harper announced Saturday that Ottawa would match all individual donations to recognized charities working in Haiti, removing a previous cap of $50 million.

'Giving has exceeded wildest expectations and we will continue to match pledges dollar for dollar,' Harper told a news conference."
