Kevin Rudd gives wealthy a serve on charity | The Australian: "KEVIN Rudd has challenged the corporate sector and wealthy individuals to lift their support of charitable causes, accusing them of failing to pull their philanthropic weight.
The Prime Minister said last night that Australians were the world's second-most generous private donors to non-government aid organisations.
But he said research suggested affluent individuals and companies were giving at a lower rate than their counterparts in comparable countries such as Britain, the US and Canada."
