Enterprise skills more valued than fundraising, says UnLtd CEO: Cliff Prior, chief executive of UnLtd and former chief executive of Rethink, has said there is an “inexorable trend” towards charities valuing enterprise skills above fundraising skills.

Speaking at a Parliamentary event last week about what the charity sector workforce would look like in the future, Prior said that enterprise skills were already more valued than fundraising skills.

Initially, this seems to be a large conscription for the new program; however, 70 percent of project information disclosed by those foundations reads “like a riddle,” according to the Beijing Times.

The quality of publicly available foundation information in China is an important factor in reviving public trust in charities, which has decreased significantly in past years due to high-profile corruption cases.

The goal is to build prototype mobile apps to help the charities' work. This year Vodafone's charity arm has partnered with the Pozible crowdfunding service, allowing teams to raise additional money to build the apps. The foundation will match up to $10,000 teams raise through Pozible.
