New Global Standards For Corporate Giving - Penta - Barrons.com: The Committee Encouraging Corporate Philanthropy (CECP), a forum of 180 global CEOs and chairpersons who together account for over 40% of reported corporate giving in the US, has tackled a long simmering charitable problem. What they have done is very similar to how, 30 years ago, the accounting industry tackled international accounting standards so companies across the globe could report their financial results with local quirks in accounting practices excised from the generally accepted “international” figures.
