This could get messy: arts giants agree new BP sponsorship | News: The British Museum, the National Portrait Gallery, the Royal Opera House and Tate Britain issued a joint statement announcing the renewal and extension of their partnerships with the oil giant. The company will invest almost �10 million in the four institutions over the next five years - support hailed by arts bosses as "one of the most significant long-term corporate investments in UK arts and culture". In most cases, the connections stretch back 20 years.
